Opportunities Career Services

  • offers employment services prioritized for the older worker in Campbell River who doesn’t come from a resource-based background

  • People applying for or on Income Assistance should contact your Employment Assistance Worker at your nearest Ministry of Human Resources office to ask about employment, going back to school, or financial or personal support.

Create a Plan Program (CAP)

  • A program to connect people who are on Income Assistance or risk of needing Income Assistance to resources and services in the community.

Upper Island Youth Services

  • offers teens job search and career planning support along with other personal support

  • offers education, career planning, job search and work experience for in-school teens
