The Hakai Institute is remote research station on Calvert Island BC.
Shift work is 8 days in 13 days out from mid March to mid September. Day rate based on 10 hour days. The 3rd cook position also needs to cover other cooks time off, so it is likely you'd pick up extra weeks during the season. As part of the Hakai Kitchen you'd work to provide 3 high end meals to 25-100 people a day.
First shift starts March 14th-21st

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 years cooking experience. Applicants must have strong baking and vegetarian cookery skill sets. Professional training or Red Seal ticket holder take priority. Team player and can cope with remote shift work.
