Grieg Seafood BC Ltd., a dynamic and growing company in the Aquaculture industry, is seeking to hire a permanent Accountant at our head office in Campbell River, BC.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Accountant will be responsible for preparing accrual and adjusting journal entries, preparing monthly financial and management reports, assist in month end closing, and develop and maintain support schedules

Qualifications & Experience:
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the subsidiary ledger for the company’s fixed assets and capital projects;
Perform analysis and reconciliations of general ledger accounts;
Prepare monthly financial and management reports;
Bank reconciliations;
Prepare invoices and client account statements;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
College diploma in Accounting; Bachelor’s degree is considered an asset
3 – 5 years in full cycle accounting;
Proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite;
Excellent and effective verbal listening and communication skills, problem solving skills, and critical thinking skills;
Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and focused with attention to detail;
Aquaculture experience considered an asset;
