Frontier-Kemper has an immediate opening for a full time Miners in the Campbell River, BC Area.
• Drills holes in rock for the placement of explosives.
• Loads blast holes with explosives.
• Performs pre-blasting and post-blasting functions.
• Prepares the site for mucking (removal of broken rock).
• Assists as needed in the mucking cycle.
• Installs short term roof and rib support as required.
• Installs permanent roof and rib support.
As this is a union position, benefits and wages are offered as per the collective agreement.

Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum 5 years Shaft experience
•Must be able to demonstrate competent skills to perform shaft inspections and maintenance, replacing shaft components, operating cage, slinging and rigging.
•Operating experience on a Shaft Jumbo
•Operating experience on a Eimco 630 Mucker
