Who Can
Apply
To qualify youth must:

Meet age requirements

Have encountered barriers to employment because of a challenging economy and lack of applicable work experience

Not be in school and/or returning to school

Be eligible to work in
Program Supports
Participants benefit through:
-
A paid work experience and $500 bonus after successful completion of the 12-week program
-
On-the-job skill development opportunities through work experience placements in the youth's area of interest

The opportunity to explore career choices and make personalized plans to meet the youth's employment goals

Relevant workshops, including Work Safe BC and Level 1 First Aid

New employer contacts and positive work references upon successful completion

Enhanced connection to local community service providers
