We are looking for an Equipment Coordinator to join our professional team in our Campbell River office. The part time position will report directly to the Equipment Manager and will be responsible for:
• The management, organization, maintenance, repair, and tracking of environmental field sampling equipment.
• Ensuring all equipment is signed in and out according to the company’s standard operating practices.
• Sourcing, packing and purchasing of equipment.
• Coordinating equipment use between other Ecofish equipment locations.
Qualifications & Experience:

• A technical diploma or certificate in biology or a related field would be an asset, but not required.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to accommodate seasonal work demands
• Warehouse/equipment inventory management experience
• Knowledge in the areas of water quality meters, electrofishers, hydrometric equipment
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, seeking out further information or clarification when needed
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to work within a project team
• Efficient, thorough and detail-oriented
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to prioritize and exercise sound judgment
