Details:
Plans, implements and oversees the day-to-day activities of a program.
Participates in program development and facilitation, policies and procedure formulation, program evaluation and budget preparation.
The Rovering Manager must have experience supporting children and youth with developmental disabilities, mental health issues, challenging behavior, high medical needs, autism, addictions, and assisting with personal care in a staffed residential setting (such as a resource home).
The Rovering Manager position requires a flexible schedule and is a salaried position. The Residential Rovering Manager schedule will be Saturday to Wednesday 3pm-11pm. The manager may need to flex their schedule (9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm etc…) as needed to ensure appropriate supervision and direction is available for both staff and the people we support.
Must have knowledge of CLBC/MCFD and experience managing residential homes.

Qualifications & Experience:
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in a related human / social service field
Three (3) years recent related experience including one (1) year supervisory or administrative experience.
Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience/Knowledge in complex care needs, trauma training, positive behavioral support, community care licensing regulations, MCFD standards, and CARF accreditation standards.
