We are looking for an IT Systems Specialist/Analyst to take on the responsibility of managing the entire IT infrastructure of our small business. Regularly assist the team with day to day IT requests, online applications usage, custom software support, regularly maintain the enterprise grade IT infrastructure (20+ computers, VPN, two Win2012 servers, VOIP phones, 25+ primary cloud business systems, 20+ users logins and office equipment) between two small offices (10 min apart), in collaboration with the "remote" Senior IT Network Admin.

Starting pay: $24 hr. (around $50.000)
Working hours: 8:30-5:30 with 1 hr lunch break
Working Days: Mon-Fri, be on call during the session and around the Full Moons
Must be flexible to occasionally work some weekends, or after hours.
Critical Requirement: We are a small team, and in the event of network down time/hardware failure, we need your help after hours or on weekends to restore critical business systems (network/internet connectivity/critical software). You will be scheduled to be "on-call" during our critical times.
Position Description:
Help Desk/End User Training: You will be responsible to setup from scratch our HelpDesk and start gradually training the team how to use it. Co-design with the management, per user training schedules and create, easy to follow online training courses.
Systems Needs Analysis/Project Coordination: Concurrently you will be responsible to oversee an in-house Custom Company Portal (SaaS) development (feature requests, bugs submissions), managing software systems migration & integrations. Gather end user requirements, brain storm with the Software Developers how to best solve the data/process flow, draw up the UI wireframes, process flow and present the concept to the Management/IT Projects Manager. Do tests, request new features, report software bugs and oversee timely completion of IT/Software Development Projects.
NOTE: You do not need to be a programmer, but you must be able to analyze the needs, come up with a solution, understand the business/software/IT process, present proposed solutions to the management and once approved, delegate it to the developers to get done. IT Projects Manager will then assist with the next phase of the development.
Through Help Desk, you will be the eyes and ears who sees what issues the team runs into and constantly be looking for creative ways how to solve it, not just close the ticket.

Primary Duties:
NOTE: We are a small company and you'll need to be multi-skilled, be ready to move between different IT projects while ensuring stable operation of systems.
• Responsible to setup user stations/IT assets and logins for new hires. When the team member leaves the company, de-setup.
• Outlook Exchange 2010 management, e-mail accounts, software, licenses (assist moving to the Microsoft Cloud)
• Oversee/maintain Win2012 server & Virtual instances
• Network management/AD/LAN/WAN on managed routers/switches
• Help Desk: setup help desk system on TeamWork Desk, train the team to use it, offer timely cases resolution
• Help desk management, documentation development and user training
• Should be capable of doing Root Cause Analysis on a problem
• Prepare & Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all IT hardware & Software
• User logins management across 20+ online systems
Event Equipment Setup:
• Ensure all stations and IT equipment is ready for use by the team before the group arrives.
Regular IT Systems Training:
• You will be responsible for creation of user friendly, visual, easy to follow guides, check lists and team training schedules. Managed on TeamWorkDesk, Litmos and Process.st.
