STEP #3: Body of Letter

Introduction:
State why you are writing, the position you are applying for, and where you heard about it.

 
Background:
Give a brief outline of your background experience and training as it RELATES to the job, your strengths, and why you believe you would be a good "fit" for the job.
Summation and Closing:
Thank them for their time and ask for an interview.

STEP #4: Choose a Style for your letter - try to match your résumé style.

Style One - Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif

Style Two - Times New Roman, Times, serif

Remember - to print your resume without headers and footers, click File, Page Setup and remove them.
