North Island Employment services are free for anyone living on Northern Vancouver Island who is unemployed, or under-employed, or facing an imminent lay-off. We work with you 1-1 or in fast, flexible, solution-oriented sessions until you find the right job or career.

· Job Postings and Openings: o 24/7 on our website and NIEFS Campbell River Community TV Channel 35 o Hot Jobs radio broadcasts Monday through Friday at 9:05am with Coast Country in Campbell River and weekdays at 9:10 am on CFNI in Port Hardy, · Drop-In Mon – Fri 8:30 am – 4:30 pm To Our Employment Resource Centres: o Free photocopies, fax, phone o High speed Internet on a 10- station computer lab in Campbell River and Port Hardy offices, plus community access sites in other North Island communities (contact us for details in your area) o Information and resources on job search, careers, training, schools, and growing opportunities in the area
· Connect with Employment Advisors and/or ˝ day Job Search clinics: o Personalized help with resumes, cover letters, portfolios o Job leads suited to your employment goals and skills o Gain more confidence promoting yourself o interview preparation and practice before your next interview
