Job Summary: Island Life Early Learning Centre is currently looking for a new team member to support our centre as an on-call substitute. The chosen applicants will have the opportunity to grow with our company!
Hours: Our center is open Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 5:00pm, shifts could be anytime between these hours. Lots of room for growth and increased hours.

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications:
- ECE, ECEA or RA Certificate
- Clear criminal record check
- Two personal references
- Immunization record
- Experience working with children 1 to 5 years old
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Have a clear understanding of the child care rules and regulations and the child care facility policies and procedures
- Be patient, warm and caring towards all families, children and co-workers
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of age appropriate activities
- Ability to provide a calm and positive role model to children
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and ensure everyone's dignity
- Ability to work as a member of the team
- Ability to establish and maintain strong and supportive relationships with parents, children and co-workers
