We are seeking an accomplished Procurement and Supply Chain professional to join the Marine Harvest team in Campbell River, BC. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will lead our procurement, logistics and warehousing organization. We are a growing, diverse team and require a highly organized leader, with strong integrity, excellent negotiation skills and proven track record of building business partner relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead procurement, warehousing and logistics team activities for the Business Unit
• Develop relationships with suppliers and internal customers
• Formulate / review / negotiate agreements with vendors
• Ensure consistent application of purchasing procedures and effective use of the purchasing system, adequate internal control
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Identify and capture cost savings
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls / policies and procedures
• Drive internal customer satisfaction
Our ideal candidate possess a university degree as well as PMAC (or equivalent certification) with several years of senior level procurement and supply chain experience.
