The next census will take place in May 2021. Census information is key for communities and businesses across the country.
It is vital for the planning of schools, hospitals, daycare centres, family services, public transportation, enterprises, and skills training for employment.
In preparation for this national endeavor, we ask for your support to help promote our census recruitment campaign.
Statistics Canada is now staffing 32,000 jobs across Canada. Individuals are being hired to be part of this large-scale project in communities both big and small to collect crucial data that will be used to plan for the future.
Staffing opportunities:
• Crew leaders (supervisory): train, lead and supervise a team of enumerators; monitor the progress and productivity of your team; receive and ship questionnaires and other census documents.
The rate of pay for Crew Leaders is $21.77 per hour, plus authorized expenses.
• Enumerators (non-supervisory): collect questionnaires from households; capture addresses and drop online questionnaire invitation letters; and follow up with respondents.
The rate of pay for Enumerators is $17.83 per hour, plus authorized expenses.
