The Pediatric Physical Therapist is accountable for the planning and implementation of the physiotherapy program in cooperation with families and other persons involved with each client.
Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for delivery of pediatric physiotherapy services in accordance with family centered principles and professional standards. This includes assessment, establishment of treatment goals and objectives, report writing, intervention, re-evaluation, consultation, monitoring and the provision of education to family, other caregivers, teachers, etc.
- Works as part of a community-based team including Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Infant Development, Community Nursing and other professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualification from a recognized school of physiotherapy.
- Eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Membership and registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
- Pediatric training and/or relevant experience.
