Residential Care Workers are required for our casual pool of staff.
Campbell River and District Association for Community Living has 7 residential group homes across Campbell River, Oyster River and Comox.
As a residential care worker, you would be working with our clients in their home, as such the range of tasks is wide and varied.
Our clients have differing needs, abilities and interests and therefore this is not a 9-5 Monday-Friday job, but if you wanted, can be a successful, rewarding career for life.

Qualifications & Experience:
Human Services Worker Certification, or certification in a relevant field preferred, but not essential. Orientation and full training is given. Three-to-Six months prior job experience (paid or volunteer), working with people with developmental disabilities is an asset. Must display a proven ability to calmly and effectively work with individuals with complex support needs and associated behaviors. Must display enthusiasm, energy and a willingness to be flexible in adapting to a varied schedule.
Must have own vehicle and business insurance (which will be compensated for)
Covid-19 vaccination certificate / secured exemption (as per the recent Public Health Order) are required to work for the organization.
