Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Payroll Analyst is a senior position within the Payroll team. The Payroll Analyst is responsible for coordinating the processing of College payrolls, organizational payroll remittances, reporting, reconciliations and implementation of updated Payroll business practices with a focus on efficiency. The Payroll Analyst is also responsible for making the most effective use of the College’s HR/Payroll Information System.
The Payroll Analyst will ensure that activities are done in an ethical manner and in accordance with College policies and procedures. The Payroll Analyst is aware of the Mission and Values of North Island College, incorporating and practicing the values in the performance of their duties.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. A minimum of three years post-secondary education and a Canadian Payroll Association certification.
2. Greater than five years of current payroll experience in multiple complex multi-union environments.
