We are a non-profit Society and have been given a grant to hire a summer student. The job is funded through Service Canada and pays minimum wage for up to 40 hours per week from 15 May 2015 to 28 August 2015. We may top that up a little for the right person. Safety is our first concern, so proper training will be provided in areas of deficiencies.
The position is for the summer season. Job will entail lawn and garden maintenance and 'handy man' jobs such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs, custodial, carpentry (fencing), power washing and more.

Qualifications & Experience:
Must meet requirements of Government Student Summer Employment Grant.
Must be able and willing to do physically hard work, mainly outdoors in all weather.
Prefer experience in operating lawn and garden and other power tools as well as hand tools.
