COVID-19 Update

With the ongoing efforts to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus and recommendations from all levels of government and the World Health Organization, the physical North Island Employment WorkBC offices in Campbell River and Port Hardy will be closed to drop in services.  We are currently working with clients on a case by case basis for those who need access to the Resource Centre or in-person services.  All in-person services are reviewed and considered based on need and are scheduled appointments.

Service delivery will still be available through virtual means including our toll-free telephone line at:

Fortunately, we are well prepared to work virtually and/or remotely to ensure we are able to continue delivery of services to clients under these challenging circumstances. You shouldn’t experience any interruption in the service you receive from us.

Any requests you have with regards to working with us will be handled in the same manner they always are. We will provide updates as the situation evolves, and if you have any questions, please reach out to us via email or telephone.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through these challenging times.

In accordance with WorkSafe BC and Public Health Orders,

NIEFS has created the required

COVID-19 Safety Plan.

We realize things are moving very quickly and it is hard to keep up to date.  We have complied information & resource pages for Clients and our Employer & Business community which you can access below.
