HOOKTENDER:
Position is Based out of Port McNeill, BC- Northern Vancouver Island
Based in Port McNeill, BC, the Lemare Group has been operating on northern Vancouver Island and BC’s central coast for more than 35 years. We have built a team of almost 400 highly skilled forest industry experts who are driven by Lemare’s commitment to safe, responsible operations and sustainable forest management.

Qualifications & Experience:
We are currently seeking an experienced Hooktender;
- Previous experience hooking on Madill 144 Grapple Yarders an asset
- Must have backspar hoe experience
- Experienced in tree rigging
- Strong approach to safety
- Excellent Communication skills
- Must possess Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- First Aid Ticket an asset
- Union Wages/Benefits
- Shift Work
- Accommodations provided
