Details:
Residential Care Workers ensure the physical and psychological well-being of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, mental health and/or developmental needs. RCWs manages the day to day activities of the home including accompanying the children and youth to activities and appointments, grocery shopping, teaching life skills, meal preparation and cleanup, completing daily logs and other reports as required.
CR Care and Consulting is looking for Residential Care Workers to join our team for all shifts. Our staff operated foster home program in Campbell River is operated by experienced owners/management within the children’s residential treatment industry.

Qualifications & Experience:
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• A diploma in human/social services or a related field or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral support needs or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Food Safe level 1 Certification
• Clear RCMP Criminal Record check/Children and Vulnerable adults through MPSSG
• Clear Health Certificate and T.B test
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle with a minimum of 1 million insurance coverage
• Clear and Current Driver’s Abstract.
